 Abstract:  The opinion book consists of various debates held and delivered before the Provost and Vice Provost of the Law Academy of Philadelphia. The Law Academy was a precursor to formal law. Peter Du Ponceau was the provost of the Academy and most of the opinions are signed by him. This volume was likely his notebook.
